Game cameras and battery lfe

Hey all, I will be investing in 2 or 3 cameras soon and wonder if anyone uses quality Nmh rechargable batteries and what are your thoughts or comments on the subject.

60 Years!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Sall-Mar. I took this picture yesterday of Ken Postma (sitting) and his son-in-law Bob Isbell. This is the the 60th year in a row that Ken and his wife Vicki have been in one of our cabins for deer season. Absolutely great people! How awesome is that!!!

Grouse reports excellent + nice buck!!!

Had a couple guys from Tennessee here the past 10 days grouse hunting. They come up every year and they said this was the best year for grouse they have seen in many years. That's a good thing!!! Also, Jim Watson of Rapid River got a really nice 8 point the other day. The picture does not do it justice.....

Apple Fed Venison

Another good year out at the apple orchard. Esther and I passed on several smaller bucks, saw quite a few with broken horns. A large "doe" I took turned out to be a pretty good size buck with both horns broken off. Might have got the neighborhood bully on Sat.

My 44mag handgun did it's job. I shot a 8pt. on the 16th. at 50 yds. He didn't go far. maybe 40 yds. It's a rush to take a whitetail with a handgun. If you haven't tried it...You should. Tomjohn
