Fishing was a little tough on yesterday's charter with Russ McKay and his buddy from the northern Illinois area. We launched at Esky around 1 p.m. and headed to where we were catching them the other day before the winds drove us off the water. We were marking tons of fish and lots of baitfish, which I always like. The bigger fish don't stray too far from the dinner table. We didn't start off too great, with the first two fish coming off. Then we went 6/6 the rest of the day with 5 keepers and an undersized fish. Not the greatest day, but the bite's been tough the last week or so with all the fronts and the winds switching around so much. Here's a picture of the guys catch, good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.

Well, if you're only going to catch a few, those are the kind you like to see.
I guess we get a little numb to seeing fish like that, living on the big water. I know growing up in Minnesota and fishing small lakes, we would have been absolutely thrilled to catch just ONE fish like that!
