Sorry for the late report but between work and remodeling my house, I've been a little busy.

Fished over the New Year holiday and had mixed results as follows:

Wed night:   I got one 20" on a tipup.  Friend Ryan got one small pike and a burbot.

Thurs morn:  I got a 21" jigging and missed several others.  I think the other guys got skunked.

Thurs. night:  I got a burbot and I think my brother John got 2 keeper walleye.

Friday morn:  Slept in.  My brother got 2 keepers and a nice 9-10 pounder.

Friday night:  Got a nice 6 pounder on a tipup and John got 2 more keepers.  Ryan, the burbot slayer, got 2 more burbot.

Saturday morn:  Slept in again.  John got 2 keepers.

Saturday night:  I got 4 keepers and Ryan got 2 keepers.

Throughout the whole trip up I saw lots and lots of fish on the sonar.  Most of the time they were very sluggish and hard to get to bite.  Missed several good fish while jigging too...a couple of which where very nice.  The weather was pretty brutal the whole time with cold weather and wind making moving around and setting/pulling tipups a real chore.

Back to the remodeling....
