First, I want to apologize if I peeved anyone tonight by drilling a hole at "primetime" (I couldn't get away until 20 min. after 5). But I think fishing is much like deer hunting, where you can't get a buck if your not in the woods. So even if I may not have that much time, I still want to fish when I can! That said, I had my line in the water by 6:00 and was marking fish right away. The first fish I hooked was a decent fish. It pulled drag a couple times, but then came off. Then I caught two dinks that were as close to 15 inches as you can get without actually being 15 inches!!! Probably be keepers by May 15th. Then I caught a perfect eater of 17 inches. Caught 4 more dinks that were in the 12-13 inch range before I left at 7:30. Caught all the fish on the #5 and #7 perch colored Jigging Rap...
