My daughters boyfriend is trying to tell me he caught a 9 pounder that was "about" 20 inches.  I think he is full of crap.  He didnt take pictures and says he cut it up right away.  I say.....BS.  Any thoughts?

My wife caught a smallie once that was 23 inches and just over 6 pounds.  20 inches x 9#, I doubt it.

Yeah, at best, a 20 inch largemouth will go 5 pounds.

I don't know the weight but I cought two 22 in. Smallies last winter in BBDN Ice fishing. And I have people that saw them.
