Fished the last couple of hours yesterday afternoon with my friend Mike. We fished out from Gladstone in 30 fow. I got my first keeper pretty quick, then there was a big lull until about 4:30. The action wasn't fast and furious, but we did manage a few "eaters". Mike's fish was the biggest at about 21 inches. Fish were being very fussy yesterday except for one I caught that totally inhaled my #5 chrome/purple Jigging Rap. The holographic blue/green ice darter had a few hits as well. Mike was using one of my hand-painted baits and caught two and missed 8 strikes. Overall the fish seemed to be a bit more sluggish yesterday, at least in our location. Can't wait to get out there again this weekend, good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
