Bacon wrapped walleye kabob....

Ok boys,

Get ya hungry for two weeks for opener..

Fillet walleye and chunk into one inch square.  season with season salt and garlic powder.

Cut bacon into thirds.  Wrap each piece of fish with bacon and skew.  You can put anything else you want on the skew (onion, tomato, water chesnut, ect...) like a kabob but the walleye is what you will crave.

Slap them baby's on the grill and when just about done drip one drip of your favorite bbq sauce on them and let it work... yummy

Captain Jim McDonald fixed up some bacon wrapped walleye for New Year's a few years ago and it was awesome! I guy can get totally hungry even if he just ate after looking at these recipes. The partridge recipe just posted sounds incredible too.

After my reply, I have to admit I just staired at the bacon wrapped walleye picture for a few seconds again and now need a kleenex as it appears I have some drool at the corner of my mouth...

Brother in law and kids over swimmin in pool with hot weather. Started talkin about grillin so guess what. He rounded up a few eyes and I did the same and a northern and a couple pounds of bacon. After the first batch he said OMG I gotta bring some home for the wife. Guess what......... nada left.... I warn you guys once you start you can't stop. Scarry to think how many fish could dissappear if ya got the boys and some brew together... Ya know a guy can work up a thirst slaving over a hot grille too...
