I too like Powerpro. I think I have 30/8 on my trolling rods, but it might be 40/10, the age thing showing again... Then I use a 17 pound test leader of flourocarbon leader (3-4) feet. Not so much for fooling the fish as to be able to grab the line if I don't want to lift a fish in the boat. The Powerpro can slice you up! I use 20/6 on both my jigging rod and casting rod. You can cast a spinnerbait a country mile with the 20/6 Powerpro and the stuff lasts forever so it's nice not having to respool every year. Damn, talking about this makes me want to go fishing now! Usually about this time (but maybe another week this year) the pike start getting really active in the new weed beds. Not big ones, but lots of action.
