I think my brother Kenneth and his clients might have really kicked some walleye tail if not for all the Sheepshead and undersize walleye they caught on this trip. They came in early (around noon I think) due to the husband not feeling too well, but they still ended up with 8 keepers. For the first couple hours it was sheepshead after sheepshead after sheepshead with a few small walleye mixed in and a catfish for good measure! They were a couple hours into the day before they finally started catching keeper sized walleye. Water temp. very close to 80 degrees now, so the walleye bite should really take off if it's anything like past years when the water got this warm. Enjoy this beautiful weather folks, because winter will be here before you know it...
