Kenneth and his clients found the bite a little tougher yesterday. But with a north wind, you kind of expect that. None the less, they ended up with a nice mess of fish, it just wasn't fast and furious like Saturday was. Of course, much of the fast and furious from Saturday was due to those stinking sheepshead! I only had time to go thru about half the video from the trip, but that's better than nothing. Good luck on the water folks...
I've gotta head over there soon. Are you Jigging or run dipsy divers or Bottom bouncing with crawlers? I've got a small boat so I've gotta keep an eye on the sky.
Depending on the wind, water temp., and water color we're doing a variety of things. We've been catching lots of fish on Walleyes Choice harnesses ( I-62, I-76, I-42, and I-51), and we've been catching lots of fish pitching jigs and 1/2 crawlers when the water color is right, that's about it. Lots of fish near weedbeds right now, but the water has to be dirtied up some to get em'. Black Bottom should be going soon, that's always fun. Pretty much a harness bite down there in 26 to 32 fow. Major mayfly hatches have been occuring the past week or so, they are about 2 wks. late this year. Biggest problem lately has been no consistent weather. Wind direction has been different every day lately. Yesterday a slight east wind, today a strong south wind, tonight it's a strong west wind, and tomorrow it's supposed to be a north wind, then back to the southeast for Wed. and Thurs., so that's never good for fishing! Overall it's been a pretty good summer though.

I don't know what those harness numbers are so I guess I've gotta visit the baitshop eh? lol I guess I'm old school and you're way farther advanced than me. Nobody just drifts and jigs with a walleye minnow and a leadheaded jig? I think maybe at the end of the week we're supposed to get a west wind no? I was going to go out on Peavy today with my boat but the wind was blowing pretty fierce
