Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

I'm glad someone had a decent day. Ol Slammer had his first skunk of the year yesterday..........All Day , not including two dink perch. Started out in the AM leaving from the Days Launch to find a big change in conditions because of the temps and wind the night before. Had water on the ice and the pressure crack got bigger and sloppier. The guy right behind me dropped through , but we managed to get him out. I got to my spot and set up in 15 ft of water and tips in 18-20. Picked up and moved at 9:30 and went deeper off a break and fished in22 ft with tips in 12 and 24. Packed up at 12:30 and it was pretty iffy getting back over the pressure crack. Had lunch, got gas and headed back out off of Kippling launch. Went over Butlers' and then straight out and had to deal with another pressure crack. Too much pucker factor for one day. Set up off a small hump on 30 ft and and the only thing I got was Vex Eye!!! Not one flag all day and only marked one fish that I'm sure was an eye. The only excuse I can come up with is ....those damn minnows and suckers I bought from Chris (Bait Shop Guy) were defective and swam crooked. I have no other excuses other than maybe the fish were still in shock from the Packers loosing like I was. Ya know the ol saying...A bad day fishin is better than a good day at work........Bull$hit !!! Back to work for a week until I get out again. Later, Slammer!!!
