Hey everybody! I'm looking to expand my list of inland lakes for ice fishing. Any lake will do as long as there's fish in it! I don't care what species. If anyone has a favorite inland lake or has heard of a good one within an hours drive of Escanaba/Gladstone area, let me know please.
Do you have a pen and paper ready. I'll give you all my GPS spots................................................................................................................................NOT
Lol! Touche. I see your point. I know lots af anglers are weary about giving away "secrets" and I don't blame 'em. Personally, I'll tell people what body of water I'm fishing but I don't get specific. So I have my pen and paper, go ahead on those gps spots;)
I figured that. No worries, I got a good sense of humor. Yeah, I like helping people out too. Can't help too much though or they steal your spot! Besides, your gps spots would be safe with me anyways because I don't have a boat OR gps.
I'm not too proud to except another mans hand outs(see waypoints)
Seriously though, what are good baits and how are they worked to get into some of those "cod"? And are they "catchable" in open water in the same areas or do they go deep or otherwise? Awesome catch BTW !
