Got on the ice about 2:30. Holy crap was it windy. Thankfully it died down. I figured it would be a late bite once the sun came out, and I was right. I missed my first fish at 5:45. Got too excited again! But hey, what do you expect after staring at a blank screen for over 3 hours. About 10 minutes later I landed a nice 17 1/2 incher. Then I had several fish come through without hitting before catching another nice eater. Then I thought I would show our audience the proper way to miss fish. Yah, right!!! Good lord, I think I missed 3 in a row and then wound up with a rats nest around my pole and had to quickly switch poles because there were fish up the wazoo on the graph. Caught a couple more nice eaters before coming in. Ended up with 4 keepers from 17 1/2 - 20 1/2 inches. The first fish hit a #7 Purple Parrot, the 2nd and third came on #7 Firetiger, and the last fish hit a #9 Purple Parrot. A pretty good evening all in all. Except for the rats nest...And missing too many fish!!!
