Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

Ice conditions changed a bit today. Yesterday it was 3-4" of pure water and slush with 16-17" of good ice underneath. Today temps dropped a bit and some of that water on top is starting to freeze but your still busting through and hitting water and slush underneath. I hate it when it gets like this. Sure glad I have chains on the 4x4 because its glare ice under that water, not much for traction. Vagabond launch is glare ice, today guy couldnt make it up the hill and slid backwards jackknifed his truck and trailer into the woods. Tow truck had to come out. Guys are still using the landing with full sized trucks but it is treacherous. If you have chains for your truck bring'm! Not sure if there is parking at Vagabond, I am staying at one of the cabins so its not an issue for me. I would call them and ask. Caught 2 walleyes today, one yesterday.
