On my way to work this morning heading south toward Esky and I see two trucks heading north pullin 4 wheelers and gear going ice fishing , and two minutes later I see two trucks pulling Rangers (boats) turning in Wells. Wouldn't be surprised if the golf coarses open today too. It's gonna be a long wait till next Ice season!!!! Slammer!!!

Yup, that sounds like a U.P. thing! I wonder how the ice is on some of the inland lakes? I would not mind going for some panfish if there is any safe ice anywhere yet...

I took a ride on my bike today to see how the ice was where i was fishing last weekend.

A few years back I ended up ice fishing in the morning and golfing in the afternoon. This was around the Green Bay area. I can tell you this weekend was very difficult without ice fishing. Ended up raking the lawn.... boy do I miss ice fishing already.

I'm starting to practice watching boards instead of staring at blank screen. Hopefully open water will be more productive than this past hard water fiasco. hmm
