Got the email below from the DNR about public comment meetings on proposed fishing regulation changes for 2013 with regard to Pike, Muskie, and Brook Trout. All the particulars are in the email below. Some of the proposals are outlined in the documents I uploaded. Either Kenneth or myself are going to try to make the meeting tomorrow night (March 27th) at Bay College, hope to see some of you forum members too!!!

The purpose of this email is to inform you of public meetings that will be held to discuss proposed fishing regulation changes for 2013. Please forward this email on to others who may be interested.
The meetings for the Northern Lake Michigan Management Unit will be held on the following dates in the following locations:
Tuesday, March 27 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (eastern time) at the Bay College Heirman Center Room 952, 2001 N. Lincoln Road in Escanaba
Wednesday, March 28 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (central time) at Bay College West, 2810 North U.S. 2 in Iron Mountain
Other meetings will be held throughout the U.P. in April, including
April 3, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. (eastern time) at the Ishpeming Township Hall, Highway M-28 in west Ishpeming
April 4, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. (eastern time)/6 to 8 p.m. (central time) at Gogebic Community College, Lindquist Center in Ironwood
April 5, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. (eastern time) at Michigan Technological University, Isle Royale Ballroom A-2 in Houghton
Thursday, April 5, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Cisler Center on the campus of Lake Superior State University, 621 West Easterday Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie
April 12 from 7:00 p.m. at the library in the Tahquamenon Area School in Newberry.
April 25 from 7:00 p.m. at the Snyders Restaurant, 400 Cedar St., Munising.
In addition to a few local regulation proposals, several statewide regulation proposals will be discussed, including the following:
Brook trout daily possession limits for Upper Peninsula streams.
Northern pike size and possession limits.
Muskellunge size and possession limits.
The attached information on the statewide proposals will be available at the public meetings and on the DNR's website (scheduled to go live on Monday, March 26). For those unable to attend the public meetings, there will be an opportunity to comment on the statewide proposals by email and through the following online surveys:
