Two words sum up this mornings 5 hour trip for my brother Kenneth and his clients...IT SUCKED! We don't know if it's the cold front or the storms that went through yesterday, but something shut the fish off big time. They marked quite a few fish, but could not get them to bite, period. Guests staying with us also maxed out at just 3 walleye this morning. Some folks only post a report when they catch fish (fearing a loss of business if they post a bad report), but we try to post whether it's a good day or a bad day. Just seems a little decieving to do it any other way. Hopefully tomorrow is better...

Honesty is the best policy! Way to go, anyone having doubts about your ability to put people on fish just needs to research a bit, as they say, it is called "fishing" not "catching".

Your trip and mine were totally opposite. Went out at day break with my friend and started to nail the eyes. We caught 4 in one hour and had to work for the 5th one, I think if we got out earlier we would of got more. We only fished for 3 hours and caught 7 only 5 were keepers. Then we went out that night and caught 5 more keepers. We were trolling harnesses in about 10ft we also caught some small eyes last night. Going out at 4 a.m. to see if they are bitting early

Great job. I'm glad someone caught some fish! There is always someone catching some fish, just hard to cover all the bases in 5 hours. Once again, great job and thanks for the report!
