Let's see, where to start??? The guys in cabin 3 have not caught a keeper walleye in two days. They have been staying with us for 16 years straight and know the bay pretty good now. The father and daughter in cabin 4 caught one sheephead this morning. They fished Round lake yesterday and just caught a couple small pike and a bass, but no walleye. The guys in the apartment caught 1 keeper walleye this morning and just a couple yesterday. Kenneth had the two guys from cabin 8 out this morning and they caught 1 keeper walleye and a whitefish of all things. Caught the whitefish near Gladstone. Now get this, the whitefish was plum full of spawn and looked like it was ready to spawn. What's up with that??? Talk about screwed up.. Have not spoke to the two guys in cabin 2, but judging by the lack of fish guts in the cleaning shack, I can safely say they have not been catching too much. I did hear of 4 keepers being caught off the beach at Gladstone this morning, but can't verify that. The water temperature has went from 70 at the north end of the bay down to 55, so I think we have had enough north winds for awhile. We told the folks for tomorrows charter how today went and we all decided to reschedule. No sense in just taking someone for a boat ride. Could be better tomorrow. You never know. I sure hope so...

Water temp. in the high fifties??? That's crazy cold for there. I never would have thought it would be that cold down there. What a weird spring and early summer...

I've been doing quite well between Peshtigo and Oconto last couple of weeks also. Limits every time except last Saturday with 8 fish between 9am and noon. Bonus 16 in perch caught. My partner caught a 15 in perch the day before
