Kenneth and his clients found a little better bite yesterday than what it has been lately. It's about time we get some south winds to both warm up the water as well as dirty it up so the fish start biting again!!! I think he said the water temp. was back up to about 70 degrees. While they only brought back 4 keepers, Kenneth said they had several others come unhooked that he thinks were also keepers. They also missed a bunch of bites due to his clients getting too excited and not feeding the line to the fish a little bit before setting the hook. They were drifting with floating jigs tipped with half a crawler.

Kenneth attempted a charter this morning, but they waved the white flag and surrendered to the winds after just a couple hours having caught just one keeper and a couple throwbacks. He said they were marking some fish this morning, but boat control was a futile effort. The last forecast I saw said the north winds today are supposed to switch back to the south again tomorrow. I hope so...
