I'm in a pissy mood right now. I don't mind a couple nice fish coming unhooked, but losing 5 really ticks me off blehblehbleh . My wife Theresa and I fished today from 2:00 until about 7:00 this evening and ended up landing 3 nice walleye that were 20, 20 1/2, and 24 inches. Still, we should have had 8!!! I have no idea why we couldn't keep them on the line.  I made a few casts for pike on the way in and had two misses and landed one. The first walleye came on the outside board which had gotten up into about 12 feet of water. We decided to drop the boards and try and follow the contour of the drop off and just hand hold the rods. The fish were really relating to the weeds along the drop off. It worked really good, we just could not keep the hooks in them. Theresa was excited because we were catching the fish on a hatchet blade she picked up down in Green Bay.  I'll try and get a picture of it tomorrow and post it because it was easily the best color today. I think it's very similar to Walleye's Choice I-80 if I remember correctly. Time for bed, good night folks...

Maybe it was the "expertise" of the guy that tied it up for her that made that one so good!  LOL......Great job bro' and sis'.

Nice fish! I have a question Catman. What is that clamp holding your windshield open? I've never seen one, but sure could use one.

Thanks,

Eyecatcher,

It's just a plastic clamp I picked up at Menards. I think it was in with the

c-clamps. Works great for keeping the walk thru from slamming shut in a gust of wind...

Thanks Guys, I'll have to head to Menards tomorrow and get one! Neat idea, I've been trying to keep that window from slamming shut for a long time. Looks like walleye fishing is starting to pick up on LBDN! biggrin
