WOW Greg...You sure do eat high on the hog. lol I had to settle for porterhouse steaks for New Years.
But your right...It is the time of year to help out the needy. lol

I know exactly how you guys feel!!! I was stuck eating this slop for New Years too. First they forced me to drink mass quantities of fine whiskey. Then they had the nerve to stuff me with fresh garden greens with dried cherries and candied walnuts with 25 yr old balsamic. Then shoved a slow roasted salt-baked tater loaded with mexican crema down my throat. Tried to slide some fresh garlic grean beans down me throat , but put up a pretty good fight. Next they forced hot baked crusty baguettes with roasted garlic marmalade on my plate and then the topper of all toppers ...........(this is the worst part) when I wasn't lookin, they snuck a 1lb. Lobster tail on my plate and said I couldn't leave the table until it was all gone......................."And the Butter Too Mr.". Those bastards!!! It was hard enough to choke it all down , and just when ya think it's all over, some smart ass hands ya another ****tail and a plate full of fine homade trouffles and confections. I didn't think I'd ever leave that table, but I was able to pull it togeather and with the will to do it again some day, I mustered the strength to get through it all. Don't worry, I'll be OK!!! I pray to God none of you ever have to go through what I experienced, but if you do, may I recommend one thing to help you get though the toughest part...........make sure the butter is at the proper temperature. I damn near burnt my chin and my lap as it was running down my face. Oh, the agony of it all. My therapist / fish monger says I should recover, but it's probably gonna take some time for healing (mentally & physically). Thanks in advance for all your thought and prayers!!! Slammer!!!
