Most of the folks I have spoke too the past week have had a pretty tough bite for walleye. There have been a couple exceptions. Last Sunday, my friend Ed Closs and his son Avery caught 4 keeper walleye (1st picture). Tuesday, another friend of mine ended up with 4 keepers as well (no picture). This morning Cory Schram caught a couple keeper walleye and a huge perch that makes the two walleye look small. So some fish are being caught. Is it great, not by any means. But you can't catch anything if your line is not in the water. Some of you may remember the reports from the "Pulaski Boys" last year. Well, they are struggling bad and if they are struggling, you know it's tough!!! Good luck out there folks and keep it safe!!!!

Thanks, that perch was fun it nailed a size 7 jigging rap in one of the new purple colors not sure on the exact name. The eyes were very aggressive as well nailing the same rap. Been doin decent in 30+ fow averaging 2-3 keeper eyes an outing, its gonna be messy out there but should freeze up good again heading towards next week..... Be safe out there fellas!!!
