Just a heads up....Anyone with shanties on the bay might want to think about strapping them to the ice since the weather guru's are saying we could see winds in excess of 50 mph tomorrow (Saturday). Also with how slippery it is, creepers will be a big plus because if the winds do get that strong, you might just start sliding across the ice and not be able to stop!!! It is extremely slippery out there right now!

They are so good at forecasting wind that it is now 10-20mph... Either way my shack is off the ice. Hoping to take the portable out tomorrow but even 20mph I'll be sliding across the lake.

I know, their wind forcasts are probably the least accurate of their forcasts. But better safe than sorry....

Even without ANY wind out there........it still BLOWS!!! I can't believe it's mid January and no snow or ice to speak of. Think I'll go finish raking the yard!!! Slammer!!!
