Have been pretty busy this past week, so I haven't had time to put up a recent report, but the fishing has been pretty good. Had our Lee family reunion this past week, and what a joy it was to spend time with family members that we only get to see once every few years. I even got my dad out one evening for a few hours with his twin sister Sally and my cousin Rob. We got 4 nice fish before we got word that the other family members had arrived and we headed in. I took some other family members out for some bigger fish the next night, but we could only manage two nice fish. The conditions were perfect for the spots we fished, but the fish just never showed up before it was time for us to come in. Yesterday I had a 5 hr. trip in the morning, and it was very frustrating. We should have had our limit after our first two trolling passes, but the fish kept coming un-buttoned. We ended up with 6 nice walleyes and some perch, but we easily should have had at least 15 keepers yesterday. All of our fish came on Walleyes Choice crawler harnesses trolled behind bottom bouncers. I-42, I-62 and I-76 have been catching most of our fish lately. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area...
Been doing good Oconto South and along East Door county shore. Fish are scattered at Green and Chambers Island but should be heading your way soon. Few good reports from Cedar River but for the most part inconsistent bite.
