Had a fun day yesterday with a couple of brothers (John and Mike) from Illinois.  We started out perch fishing and then switched over to walleyes just before dark.  The perch were biting, but the average size was wayyyyy smaller than what we've been getting.  We did keep about 25 before it was time to see if we could catch some "eyes".  We then switched over to trolling crankbaits for a couple of hours and we did land 9 nice fish before it was time to head in.  Suspending rogues definitely worked best for us, I don't think we even caught a single fish on another crankbait, so by the end of the night we had 6 rogues on the end of our lines.  Weeds were a big problem last night, lots of dead floating weeds messing up our planer-boards and lures.  I'm sure we would have caught more fish if our lures were clean of debris most of the time.  Here's a video my brother shot...watch IF YOU DARE!!!
