The DNR Fisheries Division has confirmed a new state record flathead catfish!

Congrats to Dale Blakley, of Niles, who reeled in this 52-pound, 46.02-inch lunker on Sunday, Jan. 12. It was only his second time ice fishing and was the single bite he had all day. We think it's safe to say Blakley will now be forever "hooked' on ice fishing!
