I'm getting ready to make our reservation for Feb 20-23.  I'm a little worried and don't want to inconvenience anyone.  Is there way too much snow to even make it accessible by then...on quads? How much snow is on the ice?

Depends on how much moving you do. Sleds right now are the ticket followed by ATV WITH chains or truck WITH chains. A lot can happen between now and then and the way this winter is going , I don't think it's gonna get better. Right now there is access with quads just south of Gladstone off the yacht harbor, but not much farther without concern. There is some travel and access off of Kipling but limited.
The Yellow gate access north of Kipling is pretty much Sled only. Terrace access is pretty much sled only and there is atv travell off the Esky river. Keep checking and we'll keep ya posted.

Well, I think we're scratching our trip. Conditions don't seem too good. It's a little better over here, so I think we're just gonna fish Munoscong all weekend.

Thanks...we'll be back next year!

Went out yesterday and chickened out with the 4-wheeler and went with a buddy with a sled. Saw a few wheelers getting stuck between the Terrace and the Esky river. Pretty tough out there and supposed to get more snow today. This SUCKS!!!
BTW......slow day yesterday. One nice perch and one undersize eye.
Good Luck on Munoscong!!!

We have a couple guys staying here for the week and they have a quad with chains and haven't been able to get out yet and this is their 3rd day I think. Think they are going to try to walk out someplace tomorrow. Can stop snowing anytime!!!
