no

First day on the ice and got my annual Skunk done and over with. Went out this afternoon and fished in 24-26 ft. of water and marked some very nice fish ( at least nice marks on the vex)  and good numbers. Very NON-Aggressive and not one taker. Not for lack of trying.......through everthing I had at em and no go.  Great day on the ice and no wind was a plus.   Gonna try It early tomorrow.

You are not alone buddy. Everything I have heard has been "so-so" up to this point. Hopefully it gets better...

I like using the Vagabond Resort Access if fishing walleye. If you want perch, probably better off going out from Kipling or either of the yellow gate accesses. Last year I think the charge to go out from the Vagabond was $3.00...

Fished yesterday morning from dark till 1:00 and only managed 1 keeper and 1 northern. Still marking lots of fish but acting funny. A guy next to me who has been out a week before me said he's been catching whitefish in this area too. Makes sense now as they were acting like whitefish. Didn't throw a whitefish rig out as I hate whitefish.
Will try again tomorrow afternoon and try a different spot. With the new smart phone apps with charts it sure makes it easy to find nice spots that llok good on paper at least.

Access off the yellow gates requires jumping the pressure cracks which isn't bad now, but can change in a moment. No wind lately has saved us.. Have not been out of Kipling ,but looks like there are issues there too.

Good Luck and be Careful!!!
