Has anyone else tried one of these straight line combo's? (like a fly reel)  I got an after market one (not the frabill) and tried it yesterday on whites.  It worked as they say will little to no line twist but a challenge to get the ol brain used to reeling backwards and adjusting the drag.  I must say I like it and found myself just using it for the fact of using a new technique.   Thoughts

Can't be anything straight about it if your using one Schmutz!!! LOL
I've looked at em and thing the would be great for pan fishing, but don't know about getting a lure down fast in deep water. I like the idea of less line twist, but have not tried one yet. Keep us posted on how ya like it. Are the geared for reeling in line fast or are ya reelin like a madman to keep up!!!
