Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

Probably not what you thought!!!  

My fishin buddy and I have been waiting all year to go try for the fish of many names. Lawyers, Losh, Burbot, Eeelpout, MariA, Ling.    We target these fish for 2 reasons. More fun and more fight in deep water than other fish, and some of the best table fair IMO there is. 

Yesterday we pulled an all dayer and it was very slow. We only managed to pull up 4, but all nice ones.  Had a great day on the ice, ate like pigs, and even had some great Irish Coffee. My buddy called it " Kentucky Roast" coffee.  

It may be a little early for these fish in numbers yet, but still just a riot when these pigs are coming up from the deep.  Hopefully it will only get better!!!

P.S.  Thanks to Rick for the fresh hot cinnamon rolls baked right in the shack in his new Buddy Heater Easybake oven!!!  LOL
