Not only are the alewive numbers way down, but other things like chubs are just about gone too. The last commercial fisherman that fished for chubs (from Milwaukee) moved to Alaska because he could not catch chubs anymore. Anyway, here is a great article on the prey biomass of Lake Michigan. Not good!...
