Saw this bald eagle fishing along the river behind our resort while walking my dogs this evening so I went back for the video camera. What a majestic bird!

Yep beautiful but still a preditor. A girl at workhad a tree with a nest blow down in a storm last summer. In it guess what? Six dog collars. Thats nature. And a preditor will hunt.

Great video! Thanks. There is an adult female with two young birds on the Ford as well. I brought my daughter and fiance out to watch them a few weeks ago. An amazing creature for sure.

I've got quite a few of them around my place, I think they wait for the boat to pull in. When I cleaned a bunch of perch, they were on the guts within 15-20 minutes. Didn't forget the food spot over the winter. When I get cleaning salmon regularly, I attract a pretty good bunch at times. One day there were 9 eagles, both bald and golden on the pile at one time. I've got a picture somewhere that got 6-7 of them in it, but with 9 pairs of eagle eyes watching, it was hard to sneak up for a good shot.
