Yesterday's trip was day two spent with the Otten family from the Milwaukee area. We hit the water around 2 p.m. and headed south to pull some Walleyes Choice (http://www.walleyeschoice.com) harnesses over some rock piles that top out around 20 to 24 feet of water. We were marking a few fish right on the bottom so we put out the lines the correct depth using both in-line weights and bottom bouncers. On our first pass Henry's bottom bouncer pole had a good bend to it. That fish was around 22 inches. Nick got to pull in the second fish which came on our second pass over the structure. That was a little nicer fish. We then lost another fish and decided we'd check out our location from the previous evening. I'm glad we did! We stayed there the rest of the day and ended up with a nice mess of fish. I-51 was the color of choice. It was a fun couple of days spent with a great family. We were scheduled to go out today also, but ol' mother nature decided to kick up her heels and we decided stay off the water. The north winds are blowing pretty hard right now and there's a small craft advisory until tomorrow. Here's a picture of yesterday's catch, good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area. Thanks Henry, Gene and Nick...I had a blast as always,
