I'm ready...bring on the ice!  This Fall weather we've been having is ridiculous.  Worst October (weather wise) that we've had in a long time.  Can't wait to try the new size Ice Darters...they look awesome!

After reading this post is it safe to assume the Warrior is hibernating?  I feel the same way, after not getting out around here at all I'm putting my boat to sleep for a few months so yeah... bring on the ice!

Hey Steve, supposed to have 4 more trips, but it looks like this weekend might get cancelled due to weather.  I guess I don't blame people for not wanting to fish in 30 mph winds and a soaking rain...I don't like it either.  I'd rather have snow anyday...ha ha ha.

I've been keeping an eye on the Michigan sea watch site lately and I see a trend of cooling surface temperatures. It seems to be a steady drop and if it keeps dropping at the present rate we'll be on the ice before or at least by Christmas.  The temps were steady at about 48 to 49 degrees but in the last 2 days I see 41-42 degrees.  As said... bring it on!
