Hey everyone, I'm looking at the color options available on the ice darters and wonder which colors are more effective for walleyes and if the perch are hot for them as well...any ideas? (notice the "icy" font color?)
Our best colors for walleye last winter were the purples, the golds and the holographic green / rainbow. That color was Theresa's favorite, she caught a lot of fish on that color. I can't wait to try the larger size baits. As far as perch, we had several guys from the Lake St. Clair area order them for perch, but did not get any feedback from them yet. The smaller ones should work for perch, since they are similar in size to a #5 rap, and we've caught a ton of perch over the years on a #5 rap. I do know they work for whitefish, we caught several on the size 6 Ice Darter last winter.

Here's a couple of pictures of the new size baits. They feature a durable clear-coat finish and really sharp red Matzuo sickle treble hooks on the bottom. Bring on the ice...
