Guest Jim Clausen and his friend Al Randolph had a good time last night trolling stick baits in 8-14 feet of water. I think Jimmy said the best action was from mid-night until about 1:30 am. He said for that hour and a half, they could not keep all the lines in the water. Their best color was a #13 Rapala in Purpledescent, and a Husky Jerk in Glass Minnow. It was a great evening until they got into some rocks!!! Thankfully, Ray's Outboard (474-9639) here in Rapid River had a new prop. Jimmy says it was the drivers fault they got into the rocks. Al says it was the navigators fault. You know how that goes...
