The cold front might slow the bite a little but I think if you slow down and drift with floating jig heads tipped with 1/2 crawlers or pitch jigs along weed edges you should get plenty of action.  As long as we don't get too strong of a north wind to blow the warm water out we'll be o.k..  Customers have been coming in the past two days saying the bite is really good right now at the head of the bay and up in the Whitefish River, however, they are having to sort through some smaller fish to get their limit.  I just had a guy come in and clean us out of chartreuse/orange blade Walleyes Choice harnesses.  We've been doing well on our charters using purple ( I-76 ) and ( I-62 ).  Those have been fantastic colors for me this year.

Steve, I like to use small pencil sinkers that I pour myself.  I really have no idea what they weigh, I just pinch them off to the size I need for the day.  I use a ball-bearing swivel and about a 3 to 5 foot leader between the swivel and floating jig head.  The sinker has a swivel molded into it so it slides on the line.  If the fish are finnicky you can just open the bail and let them take line and they don't feel the weight.
