My brother Kenneth had Steve McNally from McBain (lower Michigan) with him on todays trip. They waited for the rain to pass this morning and got on the water somewhere around 9:00 I think. Kenneth said they had their limit by 10:47 but released the tenth one so they could keep fishing! They then culled for the rest of the trip releasing smaller fish as they caught bigger ones. They initially caught their limit trolling Walleye's Choice spinners withI-80 once again being one of the top colors. When they started culling, they changed up and drifted Lindy Rigs along the breaks. The best color floater today was orange. Or anything that at least had a little orange on it. You have to love the warmer water temperatures this year as the warmer water sure is making for some great fishing. The great fishing should continue for the rest of the season now since there is nothing to hurt the bite like Mayflies or Alewives. Might slow for a couple days after a cold front, but that's about it. Summer is going fast, better get out there folks...
