We were planning on coming up last weekend but wife had other plans for me so we decided on just going up Monday after work and fishing the nite bite before driving home... We unloaded in the Esky harbor at 6 pm and headed towards the south got to a spot with a few fish but lots of bait around started pulling bouncers and harnesses with no luck at 8:30 we switched to crankbaits, didnt even have the 3 rod set up and we pulled in a 23" on a purpledescent #13 rap, from there on out it was a steady bite until about 11:00 when everything just died off, but thats fishing. We ended up bringing home 10 walleyes 26", 23", being our biggest the rest were from 20"-18" not the biggest but some great LBDN eaters. All of our fish came off of #13 raps and walleye rougues couldnt get a bite on a reef runner. Good luck to all hope to be back in a couple of weeks FOR THE WEEKEND...
