Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

Mostly fishing, not much catching. Gave it a good try the past week or so, been out of Escanaba harbor 3 or 4 times. Only a couple fish to show for the efforts. Very warm water yesterday, a little colder below 90', but didn't find much bait or any cooperative salmon. Started near Portage, an area that has produced well for me in the past, and fished past the Ford can and back. No hits, no runs, no errors. Have had a good season out of Cedar and Fairport, hoping that the fish would show up here, but if they did, they were hiding pretty good from me. Might be time to start chasing the walleyes again.
