Today's 1/2 day trip was with a good friend from Grand Rapids, Bruce DuVall and his 10 yr. old son Jordan. We were on the water and fishing a little before 7 a.m. and it was pretty good fishing for the first hour or so...the only bad thing was that the fish were on the short end. We were trolling Walleyes Choice (http://www.walleyeschoice.com) harnesses behind bottom bouncers and we just could not get any keepers. We tried different colors, depths, etc., and it was one little one after another. We made a few moves, tried the north end, then headed back south and drifted a sharp breakline with floating jig heads for the last hour of the trip and finally found a nice school of keepers. We ended up bringing 6 fish back with us, and probably could have had some more if the wind would have kept up, but it only blew for a little while then calmed down again and the bite died when the wind died. Here's a couple pictures of today's fish, good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
