Kenneth's trip Thursday was so-so. He and his clients ended up with 5 eater walleye and a couple big perch. Friday's trip was pitiful with only one walleye caught. It was a nice one though about 24 inches, but just the one keeper. We were joking that he could auction it off to the tourney guys on Saturday! His clients told me the water temperature had dropped to 59 just before they came in. Saturday's trip was cancelled due to the weather. Yesterday, he and his clients fished pike most of the day and I think Kenneth said the biggest one they caught was about 36 inches. I think they are fishing pike again today. A local guy has been catching some big sunfish at the north end of the bay. Where the heck did they come from??? Sure wouldn't bother me though if we got a good population of sunfish or bluegills established in the bay. I don't think I have ever eaten a bad tasting bluegill or sunfish...
