Went out today with the intention of staying out after dark for Burbot. I didn't really think where I was fishing today would be too good for walleye because I had fished this spot before and didn't catch squat! But I thought it might be good for Burbot. Anyway, I started off by getting half-way to the ice and realized I forgot my wallet and fishing license (so back I went). Should have took that as bad omen and stayed home! That said, the first fish I hooked was a pike (I think). Didn't get a look at it before it came off. I did get a look at the 2nd fish hooked (before it came off) and this was definately a pike. Right around 32-35 inches I would say. They both hit a #9 Green Glow Tiger jigged 6 feet off bottom. Then I caught a keeper walleye and a few more dinks before it got dark. Just as it was getting time to fish Burbot, my heater ran out of gas. So in I came. This boy needs heat! I didn't get to try for Burbot, but had enough action to make it a fun evening just the same. And listen to the ice cracking in the last video clip, it was poppin' tonight!!!
I love watching your videos of yourself sitting in the middle of nowhere talking to yourself staring down a hole. Almost makes me feel normal !!! Slammer!!!

I need to change the camera angle so when I bend over, there isn't so much glare off the top of my head!!!
