Well, it was a great day if ya had an ice boat! Windy is an understatement.

Fished all day and it was slow accept for three spurts of activity.  Caught about eight perch; one on a tipup with a 5 inch sucker.  Caught three pike; one about 30", and four dinks.

But just about dark the flag went.  As soon as I set the hook I knew it was a good one.  Well, mission complete.  Got my son a big eye, now he is still a sleep since yesterday wore him out.  Is first words, "Is that a Walleye!?"confuse

Stats: 30 1/4" 9 1/4 lbs

ya, one of the things I wanted to get done before I head out.  It was rough but a blast!  Glad to have rented one of Ryan's shacks.
