Well, yesterday was a much tougher bite, at least for me and my neighbor Ted. We hit the ice around 4:30 and marked plenty of fish, however they were definitely not as active as they've been the last few days. We did manage to get 5 keepers between the two of us, but we also lost some nice fish too. Marked plenty of fish again...but getting them to bite was much more difficult I thought. Ted caught his on a #5 glow jigging Rap and I got most of mine on a #7 glow jigging Rap. I did get one keeper on a bright white with red stripes hand-painted #7 Jigging Rap that I call "candycane". Not a bad last few days, landed 15 keepers the last 4 afternoons. I had more fun watching my 5 yr. old son catch fish Saturday, he was 1 shy of his limit! Here's a picture of last evening's fish, a few nice "eaters" for Ted's family to enjoy. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area.
