3rd time is a charm, right??? Well........this was the third time my brother and I tried to see Def Leppard (our favorite band) this summer. We were going to see them in Milwaukee, but Kenneth's back went out on him. A month later we drove all the way to Caddot Wisconsin (4 hours!!!) only to find out they cancelled due to the passing of lead singer Joe Elliot's father passing away. Then we saw they were going to be in Minneapolis at the state fair. We have relatives to stay with so we drove to Minneapolis Thursday, saw the concert Friday, and drove home yesterday. It was 93 degrees out there Friday. Could not have had better weather. Saturday's attendance at the fair was 185,000 and I think at least half of them went to the concert. Jeepers there were alot of people. Anyway, Heart put on an awesome show. Nancy Wilson is still hot too!!! And I swear, Def Leppard just keeps gettin' better and better...

Joe Elliot built a big place about 20 miles from me when he was shacking up with a Yooper Finnlander girl. Funny story is that my buddy had a Bike shop on the Northside of Iron Mountain and this guy comes in with a BIG Chopper. He starts talking to my buddy George and George says to Joe "You're not from around here are you" and Elliot tells him I'm from England lol.
Used to see Joe fairly often around Iron Mountaini shopping and stuff. Seemed like a really nice guy
Back to my Buddy George and Elliots Bike-Elliot had recently bought this bike from Axl Rose of Guns and Roses and had just ridden this bike from California to Da U.P

hEY Kevin, Just reviewing this video and if I am not mistaken it sounds around the 12min. mark that the back up singer might have a jag on... I learned many years ago it is hard to do a gig half crocked but I keep tryin...lol.... Rock on brotha...
