Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

We ran out of all but one color of "slayers" over the weekend, but we are re-stocked with 7 different colors again.  People are finding out that they don't just work for perch and smelt, but they are great for crappies and bluegills too.  They look like a Hali, but the Hali chains break at 4 1/2 lbs. of pressure and the "slayers" have been tested up to 12 lbs.  Hopefully I can get out this weekend and use them myself.  Met lots of nice folks at the sport show in Novi over the weekend, but it sure was nice to get back home too.
