A limit of walleyes...........

It was a tough bite for walleyes today but I hung in there and ended up with my limit. I zigged...I zagged...I trolled to and fro most of the day and it paid off. My eyes were a 17"...20"...22 1/2"...23"...and a 25 incher. I also caught several small mouth bass that I released.

Oh sure, you have to go and show everybody up! I knew there were walleye in Big Bay. Truth, be told, the best fishing trip I ever had was on Big Bay before I moved up here. My brother Kenneth and I fished Big Bay for a week and had a riot. It was the best fishing I have ever seen to this day. It was a late spring and the water was still cold. The best bite was in the midle of the day when the water warmed up a couple degrees from the sunshine. My kind of bite. We hit the water at the crack of 10:00 am and fished until about 4:00. Everyone that went out at first light didn't catch squat. Anyway, good job and we appreciate the great report. Might just have to head over there one of these days...
