Little Bay de Noc Fishing Reports

My wife and I only fished for a total of an hour and a half this afternoon (got too rough for my little boat), but we sure had fun! In just a hundred yard stretch of weed lined drop-off, we raised 9 northern pike while casting spinnerbaits! Even though I only hooked 2, one of the seven others that followed our baits up to the boat was 40 inches or better!!! The next biggest was about 36 inches. The other 5 looked to be just legal or slightly less. I was really surprised because it was not a great pike day by any means with how bright the sun was. Rest assured, we will be hitting this weedline again on the next cloudy day for sure. Gosh I love casting spinnerbaits for pike...
