Not been seeing any walleye reports from LBDN and not really familiar with the weather patterns that are conducive(I finally got to use that word in a sentence) to a good walleye bite here. So what are we all looking for, wind direction- current- air/water temps, bait ?
Nothing wrong with "short and sweet" Tom. Congrats on catching a nice meal! Minnows or worms??? Steve, the best conditons on the bay for walleye are south winds because it keeps the warm water in the bay and also dirties up the water. Actually, conditions right now are about perfect and I have heard of a few better reports lately so the walleye bite might be starting to pick up (finally!!!). The rule in the past has been the warmer the water, the better the fishing. Current water temperature is around 76 give or take. This season seems to be all messed though up. Don't know if it's because of that warm spell we had back in March or what...
